Bhutanese refugee club shook Eastern Regional Football Tournament by kissing final trophy and awarded along with cash Nrs. 1,00,000 n Eastern Regional Football Tournament on 28th-Dec.
The players of BRFC defeated Sainik Youth Club Garamuni by scoring 4-3 goals, in the most reputed 2nd Eastern Regional Football Tournament at Mechi stadium Chandragadi, Jhapa.
The first runner up team was awarded with NRs 50,000, trophy and individual prizes from the hand of Chief Guests; Sports State Minister and Field Director, Caritas Nepal, Fr. Amalraj SJ and other reputed persons.
Deepen Rai of Sainik Youth Club was awarded as ”man of the match”.
The tournament was started from the December 16th by Caritas Nepal and District Sports Development Committee in the financial support of UNHCR. This tournament is said to be the one which had largest prize awards in regional tournament held at Jhapa.
