Bhutanese girls spin thread on wheels at the Timai refugee camp in the Jhapa district of eastern Nepal. As the isolated Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan prepares for historic elections, many of the 100,000 refugees languishing outside the country are appealing for a chance to return and take part in the country’s general election. More over 100,000 Bhutanese refugees have been living in seven UNHCR-run refugees camps in Nepal’s Morang and Jhapa districts since 1990, now maximum are being resettled in various advanced countries of Europe, Australia and North America; after they were forced to leave their home land.
